Store Front City

A little window retail therapy for when you can't make it to the store or want to avoid going for fear of buying. We all enjoy window shopping from time to time. Come here to see some interesting store windows in NYC and beyond. Well not so beyond at first, but a girl can dream. Paris, anyone? Anyhoo, feel free to submit your own images of great store windows from your towns, cities, boroughs. I will also include some interesting, different residential windows to keep the theme going. Who knows what we'll see.

Took these at night. Another flower shop. I like the fact that these displays tend to be so grandiose and full of items. It makes it feel like you’re in a forest almost. Well almost, this is New York.

Found while shopping on Columbus Ave. I love the packaging and display of L’Occitane.

I love this color featured at the Luca Luca store on Madison Ave. Very vibrant, and also unusual to see in a suit.

In front of Le Sport Sac on Madison Ave. This display wasn’t particularly interesting, but it made me think about how color can be used in many different ways. Sometimes, it’s usage is associated with youth and excitement. While in other cases it can have a more subdued tone, well not in this case. Rainbows, anyone.

Another example of fall colors, from one of my local bodegas. The orange is so vibrant. Makes you definitely want a piece of fruit.

My favorite flower shop, that I pass everyday on the way home. Always such beautiful colors, very inviting. Definitely showcasing fall tones this month.
